Road Circuit Rules
Updated: 30th January 2022
Here at Adur Model Car Club we want to make racing as accessible as possible. To help acheive this we have overhauled our rules - as we do need them - to make entry into our hobby as easy as possible whilst also allowing our members and visitors to easily race at other clubs and race series.
As a BRCA affiliated club we follow BRCA rules except for the club specific rules in the classes stated below. If you have any questions about our rules or need advice please visit our facebook group or speak to a track rep at one of our meetings for free and friendly support.
CLUB SPECIFIC RACING RULES
Tamiya Stock/Rookie Class
An ideal entry class for juniors and adults alike, using the popular Tamiya TT car. The TT02, the latest model offers a fun build thanks to clear instructions, and being popular at our track there are plenty of members around to ask for advice. Do not underestimate the fun you can have with a Tamiya TT car!

For those who have some racing experience or that have cut their teeth in our rookie class and now want to do more with the setup of their Tamiya we have our open class.
Fixed TIming Touring Car Class
This class offers a great step up from Tamiya or entry point for 1/10th electric touring cars, with rules to help with racing in close racing environment whilst offering a stepping stone to full 1/10th touring car in the future if desired
These stunning replications for the real world cars as challenging to drive as they are highly rewarding.
